Police Hospital authorities search for patient Nana Sewa’s relatives

Authorities at the Ghana Police Hospital at Cantonments, Accra, are looking for the relatives of a 67-year-old woman Nana Sewa also known as Maame Serwaa, who has been on admission since July 15.

Hospital authorities say Nana Sewa who is dark in complexion and has grey hair and unable to give any information about herself, was brought in by a police patrol team from the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Accra.

“Her travelling bag contains her clothes and a plastic bag with the inscription "KETU SOUTH DISTRICT HOSPITAL PHARMACY DEPARTMENT, AFLAO": Its contents are; her Voters Identification Card issued by Electoral Commission of Ghana bearing her name Nana Sewa, photos believed to be her family members and friends, and an identification card of a young woman bearing the name Twumasi Konadu Abena from Lome”, a statement issued by the hospital, signed by Public Relations Officer, DSP Yaw Nketia-Yeboah.

The statement said other documents found suggest Nana Sewa may be from Aflao in Ghana or Lome in Togo.

Hospital authorities asked relatives to report at the Out-Patients Department of the hospital for the necessary assistance to link up with her.
