Pay adequate attention to children’s education

The Proprietor of Young Executive School (YES) at Kasoa in the Central Region, Mr Francis Essel Okyeahene, has advised parents to pay adequate attention to their children’s education and provide them with all their needs.

That, he said, was to ensure that they had the peace of mind to study.

Mr Okyeahene made the call shortly after he received the 2019 Best Private Sector Educational Service Award from the United Clergy International Association (UCIA) at Winneba in the Central Region.

“In grateful appreciation for your outstanding devotion to the service of the people in the Awutu Senya East Municipality and Ghana as a whole,” the award said.

Among other things, Mr Okyeahene, who is also the Proprietor of the Onua Francis International School at Gomoa Buduburam, was honoured for his contributions to the delivery of quality education to Ghanaian children.

Responding to the honour done him, the YES Proprietor said he was happy at the recognition by the UCIA, a fellowship and network of servant leaders who desire to embrace and demonstrate the Kingdom of God with power.

He commended the organisation for acknowledging his support to the society.

Mr Okyeahene appealed to parents to send their children to schools that they could help them excel “to reduce frustrations that they go through during computer placement in senior high schools after writing the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE)”.
