Midland assault: BoG regrets policeman's action

The Bank of Ghana has expressed regret at the assault case at Midland Savings and Loan Limited.

According to the Governor of BoG, Dr Ernest Addison, the incident shouldn't have happened but said it represents the challenges facing the non-bank financial institutions subsector.

Addressing the MPC meeting Monday morning, Dr Addison said the BoG was working to protect confidence and government was ready to support with funds in that regard.
