The Knights and Ladies of Marshall, a  society in the Catholic church , has began the implementation of a 12-year development plan with a focus on initiating business ventures to assist its members and the general public.

As part of the plan, the society is setting up a microfinance company, as well as a school complex from the pre-school to senior high school.

The Supreme Knight of the Knights of Marshall, Sir Knight Ernest Amoako-Arhen, disclosed these at a press soiree ahead of the launch of the 90th anniversary of the society on October 31, 2015 at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Accra.

With its motto as “Unity, charity, fraternity and service,” the society, which was founded in 1926 in Sekondi in the Western Region, has branches in Benin, Togo, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Benin and the United Kingdom.

The theme for the celebration is, “The Marshallan and the New Evangelisation for the transmission of the faith.”
