The Daily Graphic in its Saturday, October 24, 2015, publication carried a story with the headline: Logs and Lumber supports Sefwi Wiawso Hospital.
We wish to put on record that the support was provided by Logs and Lumber and its sister company, John Bitar Company Limited.
The two sister timber processing companies gave a lifeline to the Sefwi Wiawso Hospital with the provision of an anaesthetic machine worth $30,000 to facilitate surgery and other life support treatments.
Currently Sefwi Wiawso is one of the various forest districts, where the two companies hold concessions.
The presentation of the anaesthetic machine comes after the companies had presented GH¢20,000.00 to the Sui community, towards the construction of a clinic.
The two companies have also constructed a three-unit classroom block at Akrodie in Goaso, a community centre at Atronie in Sunyani and provided two mechanised boreholes.
