Local Gov’t Ministry commended for spearheading disinfection exercise

The ministry of local government and rural development (MLGRD) has been commended for its role in helping to curtial the spread of COVID 19 in Ghana.

The Ministry has since Sunday 19,2020 commenced the second phase of disinfecting, fumigating and cleaning of markets, lorry parks and other public places across the country.

According to the Bono regional minister, Mrs Evelyn Ama Kumi-Richardson, the exercise which is a collaboration between MLGRD and Zoomlion Ghana Limited (ZGL) will go a long way to help fight the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the region, and the country as a whole.
