There are three other female judges from the lower bench who are yet to be named, according to Graphic Online's court correspondent Mabel Aku Baneseh.

Ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas in a two-year investigation, caught 180 members of staff of the Judicial Service receiving bribes from litigants.

Thirty-four of the culprits are from the bench.

The Judicial Council has so far interdicted 22 while investigations continue into the roles played by the others.

Judges so far listed among the culprits are John Ajet-Nasam, Mustapha Habib Logoh, Charles Quist Ernest Obimpeh, Paul Uuter Dery and Kofi Essel Mensah.

On Wednesday, the Judicial Service issued detailed measures to deal with the present scandal unearthed by Anas, including the commencement of investigations to identify other court officials who may have collaborated in the alleged acts of misconduct.

The expose by Anas has thrown various lenses on the judiciary, against which previous allegations of widespread corruption had been entertained only as perception.
