Hit and run driver arrested at Kasoa

A driver allegedly involved in a hit-and-run incident was arrested after luck ran out on him at Kasoa in the Central region.

He was said to have knocked down a pedestrian with a pick-up vehicle, and in an attempt to escape without stopping, he accelerated and dented multiple vehicles before getting trapped in gridlock at the Kasoa traffic light area.
Some police personnel who were managing traffic in the area were alerted and they pounced on him. He was handcuffed and later sent to the Kasoa police station and booked.
