The event, which was organised by the Business Initiative Directions (BID), was presided over by Mr Jose Prieto, President and Chief Executive Officer of BID, who also presented the award to the GCGL.

In attendance were outstanding personalities from the business world and the diplomatic community.

The recognition was based on the criteria of the QC100 quality model, implemented in more than 100 countries.

Addressing the more than 100 award winners, Mr Prieto said “the award recipients are symbols of commitment to leadership, technology and innovation making them models for others in the sectors”.

From Europe, America, Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Middle East, companies and organisations received the international quality award in recognition of their achievement and commitment to quality, thereby joining the prestigious group of BID award winners.

Other award winners from Ghana were KAAF University College, Juaben Rural Bank in Ashanti and the First Allied Financial Services.

Mr Kenneth Ashigbey, Managing Director of GCGL, obviously elated about another award, pledged that the company would continue to carry out innovations and commit to quality in order to stay ahead of the competitive media industry.

He dedicated the award to the hard working staff of the company and the good people of Ghana, whose dedication and patronage of the company’s products had brought about the successes.
