GJA executive calls on GBC management

"Under the GJA project which was sponsored by STAR-Ghana, GBC effectively collaborated with the association to carry out a number of activities that we believe impacted positively on efforts at ensuring the credibility of the elections", Mr Blewu stated.

He expressed  his hope that GBC would collaborate with the association in its future programmes.

Mr Berifi Apenteng, Director General of GBC was grateful to the GJA for collaborating with the GBC, adding that the project was extremely beneficial to the corporation.

He said GBC was glad to be part of the event which has brought a new dimension to its programmes and activities.

According to Mr Apenteng, what GBC had done over the last few months was a pointer to what would be happening in the near future.

He said, as a public service broadcaster, the corporation was determined to improve knowledge  and information flow to the general public.

He urged other organisations  and interest groups that have any project or programme to approach GBC, adding that the corporation's door is open to assist them.
