The West African Examinations Council (WAEC), yesterday released the provisional results of private candidates (PC) who sat this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
A total of 2,987 candidates, compromising 1,618 males and 1,369 females from all the regions of the country entered for the private examination.
WAEC said out of the number registered, 101 candidates did not show up for the examinations conducted at some selected centres at the regional capitals.
It said the results were available on the council’s official website www.waecgh.org for candidates who so desire to access them online.
