The float preceding the launch of Atinka Media village(AMV)'s flagship event, Di Asa season three was held successfully on Saturday.
The float which took off from the headquarters of the AMV in the morning, ended in the evening after running through some principal cities in Accra.
After taking off from Avenor, the train went through Circle, through Kaneshie, and to the CMB Market where the train stopped for the past queens to dance and interact with the market women.
After traffic was drawn at the CMB Market, the float moved ahead to the Accra High Street, then through James Town, the Beach road, through Teshie Nungua and then to the Tema Community 1 Market where the queens pulled a lot of crowd while they shaked their bodies.
After pulling a lot of crowd at the Tema Community 1 Market, the float went to the Ashaiman Market where all the sellers halted their activities to welcome and dance with the queens.
While the queens were cheered by their fans, most of the people in the Ashaiman Market followed the train till it took off.
The euphoria surrounding the float was contagious such that children, the aged and even the physically challenged followed to demonstrate their love for Di Asa and the AMV as a whole.
The train then went through the Tema Motorway, through 37, through Malata Market and then back to the Head quarters of the AMV where the whole float came to an end.
Meanwhile, response from the public throughout the float indicated that they had been longing for the Di Asa season 3 and were ready to either participate or enjoy the event.
Moving forward, the Di Asa, however, will be launched in April 2019.
