The Ghana Police Service has announced that a laser and fireworks show will be held tonight(March 5, 2018) at the Kwame Nkrumah Water Gardens, Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra to commemorate the 61st Independence Day Anniversary.
According to a press release signed by DSP Sheilla Kessie Abayie-Buckman, Director/Public Affairs, the occasion would be marked with a fireworks display in the sky which should not cause fear and panic.
The statement added that similar event would be held in the capital cities of the nine other regions of the country, assuring the public of adequate security measures for the event.
