Fire outbreak at a home at Adabraka (Updated)

A fire outbreak in a residential accommodation at Adabraka Official Town in Accra Monday afternoon destroyed property worth thousands of Ghana cedis.

The fire, said to have started around 1pm first gutted the roof of the building, number 8, 2nd Brewery Link near the Aponkye Spot at Adabraka.

Firemen arrived in time to put out the blaze before it could spread to other rooms, however that was not before it had burnt off the roofs considerably.

Graphic Online Editor, Isaac Yeboah reported that one room was burnt.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
