Filling station complex for Nungua

Numo Borketey Laweh Tsuru, Gborbu Wulomo, (spiritual leader) of Nungua,  near Accra, has cut the sod for work to begin   on a GH¢1.5 million filling station complex at Nungua.

The project, which is being executed by Finest Oil Company Limited, an oil marketing company, would have a supermarket and a pharmacy to serve travellers and residents along the Accra-Tema beach road.

Speaking after a traditional prayer, which included libation and incantations, the Executive Chairman of  Finest Oil Company Limited,Mr Samuel Kwasi Avusu, said he chose the area for his third filling station in Accra purposely to create jobs for the youth.

He thanked the elders  for the smooth sale of the land and promised that the project would be executed in time to meet the expectations of the people.

Nii Borketey Kwao Ankrah I, Secretary to the Gborbu Wulomo, appealed to the company to open more job avenues for the youth of Nungua.
