Domeabra chief honoured for his transformational leadership

The chief of Domeabra, Nana Kusi Oboadum I has been honoured for his transformational leadership.

The Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute (COGAI) together with one of its affiliate, the Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce and Administration (BORGCA) presented a citation to Nana Kusi Oboadum I on Good Friday.

The president of COGAI, Dr Edward Brenya, who is also a Political Science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), said the citation was for the chief’s transformation of the Domeabra from a village to a town.

He said Nana Oboadum's selection for the honour followed a research conducted by COGAI and BORGSA on some disguised personalities in Ghana for recognition.

Since ascending the throne about a decade ago, Nana Oboadum I has tackled every facet of development with a key focus on security, he said.

From a personal resource, the chief provided for the first time, Domeabra’s major police station and other satellite security posts, embarked on aggressive educational infrastructure development and improvement of the health needs of the people.

Currently, he is putting up a big palace plus a multi-denominational auditorium to host a monthly praise and worship.

Dr Brenya said Nana Oboadum’s achievements were so compelling that his outfit had to honour him.
Nana Oboadum I said the honour would spur him on.
