Court orders Lands Commission to delete 22 leases

The Central Regional Lands Commission says it has been ordered by a court to delete 22 leases from its records.

This follows a Court Judgment dated July 31, 2007, in favour of 21st Century Co.

"Notice is hereby given that the Central Regional Lands Commission has been ordered by a Court order of Mandamus to delete the underlisted transactions, among others, from its Records," the Commission said in a public notice.

The deletion which would be effected in 21 days involves leases between Nana Abor Yamoah II and individuals and real estate firms including Julius Consa Co. Limited, McKweon Investment Co. Limited, Material Loans Construction Limited, Precious Real Estate Company Limited and Abibatel Construction Co. Limited.

The affected leases are listed below;
