Come together to fight corruption — Dr Lawrence Tetteh
Dr Lawrence Tetteh, a UK-based Ghanaian international evangelist, has called on Ghanaians to join forces to fight the menace of corruption which is adversely affecting the development of the nation.

“All stakeholders must stop politicising corruption. Corruption has been with us for generations and we must rather come together to collectively fight it,” Dr Tetteh, who is the President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach, said.
Speaking to the Daily Graphic in Accra on the upcoming Ghana For Christ Crusade scheduled from tomorrow to Saturday, November 23, 2013, he said although corruption was a canker which was undermining the development of the country, politicians had been busy laying it at the doorstep of the “NPP or NDC”.
He was referring to the two main political parties in the country, the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress.
He said as stakeholders pointed accusing fingers at a particular group, “we are digging a death trap for one another.”
Dr Tetteh said “all stakeholders, including religious leaders, journalists, politicians, among others, have failed to tackle corruption as a menace. In our bid to criticise, we have neglected our collective responsibility.”
The international evangelist, who likened corruption to sin, explained that “there is no big or small corruption, just as there is no big or small sin. Every form of corruption is not good. We must come together to form a massive united front and be ambassadors of anti- corruption”.
Ghana For Christ Crusade
On the upcoming crusade, Dr Tetteh said all was set for the three-day healing and Bible teaching services which would be held at Pavilion E of the Trade Fair Centre, La in Accra.
For the past two decades, the Worldwide Miracle Outreach has been organising the Ghana for Christ Crusade annually in Ghana.
He said Dr Richard Roberts, the President of the Oral Robert Ministries of the United States of America, who was the special guest speaker, would also speak at the Bible teaching service in the mornings between 9 a.m. and 12 noon, while the crusade ran in the evenings at 6 p.m. each night.
“We will empower people with Bible knowledge. We will be presenting certificates to participants in the Oral Roberts School of Ministry,” he said.
He stated that other speakers at the crusade would include Dr Paul Naughton and Dr Stephen Mwiluki from the United Kingdom, Dr Jeff Ogle from the United States, with a host of others from Ghana.
Dr Tetteh said prayers would be said for the nation during the crusade for unity, health and prosperity in the country, adding, “A prayer-less nation is a powerless nation.”
