Body of the beheaded boy found

The body of the 12 year old boy who was allegedly beheaded at Bogoso in the Prestea Huni Valley District has been found.

The near de-composed body of Master Ebenezer Tetteh, pupil of Grace International School, Bogoso was found on a cassava farm behind some packed blocks at Baakoyemobor where he lived.

The corpse was lying face down in school uniform with his school bag still on his back.

The Bogoso police granted the family permission to undertake a search for the mortal remains of the victim.

Some citizens who were at the scene to look at the body could not hide their tears.


The suspected murderer of the boy was arrested by the police in Dixcove on Tuesday with the boy’s head.

The suspect was arrested by the people of Sankro, a village near Dixcove when he was searching for a potential buyer of the head.

The Western Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Police Service, ASP Olivia Adiku said, the suspected murderer would be processed for court by the close of the week.
