BGMSL provides bicycles to CETA beneficiaries

The Greater Accra Regional Coordinator of GYEEDA, Nii Afutu, receiving the items on behalf of the beneficiaries, urged the recipients to be punctual and eschew absenteeism as far as their job was concerned and also to handle the bicycles with care to ensure that they lasted longer.  

The BGMSL Communications Manager, Oscar Provencal, in his remarks said BGMSL would continue to provide quality and expert project management consultancy services to stakeholders to ensure quality projects were done.

The Headmaster of Prampram DA Primary School, Abgesi Atsu, lauded the efforts of the beneficiaries and remarked that they were able to stand in credibly in the absence of the regular teachers despite the fact that they were not professional teachers.

He urged the GYEEDA to increase the number of beneficiaries posted to the district since that would go a long way to mitigate the shortage of teachers and improve the pupil teacher ratio in the district.

BGMSL is currently the management consultant for e GYEEDA which involves the management of 65,000 GYEEDA beneficiaries under the three modules to fill in teaching gaps at the community level, provide health support services and job experience building programme.

BGMSL has so far distributed a total of one thousand bicycles to CETA beneficiaries across the country and has plans to extend the gesture to all CETA beneficiaries by the end of 2013.
