The incident occurred on December 29, 2013, at 3 p.m. when the three women, who hired the services of driver, Sakidu Kadril, inflicted knife wounds on him before forcing him out of the car.

Kadril, who was in charge of Toyota Corolla car with registration number AS 9603-13, was slapped from behind after he had failed to obey the orders of the three women to stop the car, while another tied a rope around his neck in an attempt to force him to stop the car.

He was later overpowered by the three women and forced out of the car and left to his fate. He, however, managed to report the incident to the Senfi Police.

In an interview, the Bekwai District Commander, Assistant Superintendent of Police Thomas Owahene Acheampong, confirmed the incident and said the driver told the police that he took the women to several places before they snatched the car from him.

According to him, the driver was forced out of the car after he had been stabbed in the wrist and several parts of his body.

Mr Acheampong said no arrest had been made so far but indicated that the police were investigating the incident.

He said it was the first time he had heard of a robbery case masterminded by women.
