Atiteti E.P Church gets chapel, nursery

A new chapel and a day nursery have been inaugurated for the Amenuveve Bethel branch of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church at Atiteti in the Ketu South Municipality in the Volta Region.

The two projects, which were inaugurated by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the E.P. Church, Ghana, Right Reverend Francis Amenu, were solely funded by Mrs Flora Adzo Etsi-Tamakloe.

The gesture by Mrs Etsi-Tamakloe, a member of the church, started when she lost her mother who hailed from Atiteti.

During the funeral, a request was made to her to help provide plastic chairs for the church, which was then being held in a classroom.

Moved by the situation, Mrs Etsi-Tamakloe decided to put up a chapel and added the nursery since there was no nursery school in the area.

Right Rev. Francis Amenu commended Mrs Etsi-Tamakloe for her gesture and prayed for similar gestures from others to support the work of God.
