The items include four digital blood pressure equipment and three manual ones, two glucomerates for testing diabetes, one computer, two weighing scales, 10 plastic chairs and a quantity of pvc pipes.

The President of the Ghanaian Community in Belgium, Mr Kwaku Boamah Acheampong, who made the presentation, said the two organisations constructed the clinic for the community last year.

The presentation ceremony coincided with an eye-screening exercise organised jointly by the Ghanaian community in Belgium and the Oda Government Hospital.

More than 400 people patronised the exercise.

Mr Acheampong advised residents of rural communities to undergo regular medical check-ups in order to be healthy at all times.

He urged the staff of the clinic to take proper care of the donated equipment in order to lengthen its lifespan.
