Affail Monney re-elected to lead GJA for next 3 years

The incumbent President of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Mr Roland Affail Monney has been re-elected to lead the association for the next three years.

He won with 310 votes as against 147 by Mr Edwin Lloyd Evans and 44 by Mr Johnnie Aryeetey.

Linda Asante Adjei also won the Vice Presidential slot with 209 votes as against 111 by Tina Aforo-Yeboah, 93 by Francis Kokutse and 92 by Mathew Mac Kwame.

For the General Secretary position, new entrant Edmund Kofi Yeboah beat the incumbent Dave Agbenu by a single vote.

Mr Yeboah secured 251 votes as against 250 by Mr Agbenu.

Freelancer Albert Dwumfour beat Vance Azu for the Organising Secretary position and Mary Mensah retained her position as Public Affairs Officer.
