The clean-up which will see the participation of other MTTU units and a section of traders in the Tudu, Okaishie business enclaves, will precede the unit’s annual fun-filled WASSA get-together also to be held on Sunday morning.

ASP Sulemana Sulley Jnr., In-Charge of Operations at the Central MTTU, Accra, told Graphic Online that the clean-up will be sustained regularly to provide a healthy working environment for the unit and instill self-discipline among officers.

WASSA, or the West Africa Security Service Association celebrations, usually marks the end of the police calendar year but has been scheduled for this late in the year owing to intervening programmes.
