$38m Credit facility for capacity building

The document said the Government intended to revitalise the Petroleum Directorate (PD) to become a vibrant policy development and technical advisory centre to formulate policies, provide technical advice and supervisory functions for all Oil and gas related issues in Ghana.

It said it would take into account the functions of the Petroleum Commission so that the PD only managed areas and functions relevant to its core Ministry mandate. —  GNA
