Asante-Mampong Education Director promoted to rank of Regional Director
Mr. Gabriel Antwi, the Mampong Municipal Director of Education has been promoted to the rank of Regional Director of Education.

He has since been transferred to the Bono Region
He was the Mampong Municipal Director from May 2018 to January 2023.
Mr. Antwi, a staunch Catholic has over 27 years of experience as a teacher.
A send-off ceremony organised at the St. Paul’s Cathedral of the Catholic Church at Asante-Mampong was attended by many and had many reading citations and giving various testimonies about him.
Rev. Fr. Derrick Mathew Adu-Boahen the preacher at the service said, Mr. Antwi truly worked assiduously and that has contributed to his promotion to a higher office and was of the belief that he would work extra hard.
Nana Otuo-Acheampong
The Apesemakahene of the Asante-Mampong Traditional Area who chaired the ceremony commended Mr Gabriel Antwi for his effective administration.
He noted that it was during his time where the results of pupils improved in an astronomical manner.
Nana Apesemakahene noted that, Daasebre Osei Bonsu 11, the Mamponghene and his Chiefs and Queens were overwhelmed about the good work exhibited by Mr. Antwi during his stay at the Municipality
Mr Antwi thanked the Mamponghene and his elders, the Catholic Church and other religious bodies.
Mr. Kwame Addo, the Sekyere Central Director of Education who has been assigned to act as the Mampong Municipal Director of Education assured to cooperate with the staff and students and other stakeholders for effective running of the schools in the Mampong Municipality.
