The school's cadet corps put up a display of their budding skills and marched to the admiration of parents and guardians who graced the occasion.

Mr Asante Bekoe, who was the Guest Speaker, charged parents to ensure that their children took their studies, as well as house chores seriously to help mould them into responsible citizens in the  future.

Speaking on the theme: "The Role of Parents and Other Stakeholders in Attaining Quality Education", Mr Bekoe noted that it was important to give children the necessary training at their tender ages to prepare them adequately for the future.

He praised the management of the school for employing experienced teachers who had contributed immensely to the development of the students over the years.

For her part, the Proprietress of the school, Rev. Lydia Opare Afriyie, said it was necessary for parents to support their children by expressing love and encouraging them to aim high.

“Parents must be responsible by taking good care of their children and train them to  fear  God  at all stages of their lives,” she stressed.

Mr Abubakar Mohammed, who chaired the event, also encouraged parents to invest more in their children in order to reap benefits in future.

The Lord’s Favour International School was established in 2013 and currently has 160 pupils, at   the nursery, kindergarten and primary levels.
