UG gives amnesty to failed students to graduate

The University of Ghana has granted amnesty to former students of the institution who failed to graduate due to their inability to pass their courses.

According to a statement signed by the Acting Director of  Academic Affairs of the university, Mrs Christy Badu, the window of opportunity is opened to students from 2000/2001 academic year.

“This dispensation is an opportunity for all affected students to satisfy the necessary requirements to enable them to graduate. This amnesty will be for failed courses starting from the 2000/2001 academic year. The roll out of this amnesty will be for a period of three years”, she explained.

The University therefore urging students to register and re-sit the failed courses so they can graduate.
