14 schools in Old Tafo Municipality receives dual desks

The Kumasi Metropolitan Education Office has supplied the Old Tafo Municipal Assembly with 477 dual desks to be distributed to 14 schools in the municipality.

Mr. Peter Gyamfi, the Supply Officer of the Metropolitan Education office on behalf of the Metropolitan Education Director, handed over the desks to the Old Tafo Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr Okoffo Boadi Boampong at a short ceremony.

The beneficiary schools included Imamiya Islamic Primary, Badriya Islamic Primary, Al-Azhariya Primary 'A', Azhariya Primary 'B', Old Tafo R/C Primary, Old Tafo Methodist Primary 'A', Old Tafo Methodist Primary 'B' and St. Bernadities R/C Primary.

Others are Old Tafo M/A Primary 'A', Old Tafo M/A Primary 'B', Darul Faizeen Islamic Basic, Pankrono R/C Basic, Rockanje Presby Experimental Primary and Uthmania Islamic Primary.

And apart from Old Tafo M/A Primary 'A' which got 48 of the dual desks, the rest received 33 each.

Mr Gyamfi noted that the supply was from the One Constituency One Million dollar project.

Mr Okoffo Boadi Boampong on behalf of the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Fred Obeng Owusu in turn handed over the dual desk to Madam Theresa Baako, Headteacher of Old Tafo M/A Primary/KG on behalf of the heads of the beneficiary schools.
