The 130-page book is authored by Mr Anis Haffar, an old student of Mfantsipim school, with inputs from a former United Nations Secretary General, Mr Kofi Annan, also a former student of the school.

The book also talks about 36 headmasters of the school since its formation in 1878 as well as head prefects and other landmark happenings in the school.

The occasion which was also used to raise funds for the school, brought together members of the Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA).

Prof. Opoku-Agyeman said the book would help to sustain and provide the requisite platform for excellence in the performance of current and future students of Mfantsipim School.

The Headmaster of Mfantsipim School, Mr Koame Mieza Edjah, urged students to be responsible and selfless in their endeavours.

That, he said, would help them to provide service for humanity to progress.

Mr Haffar said the book would go a long way to champion good education at all times.

The Chairman of the occasion, Mr John Martey Newman, a member of the Council of State, said the book would help to recognise the efforts of the past headmasters of the school.

A member of the school board, Prof K.K. Adarkwa, commended the MOBA 1966 year group for their tremendous help towards the school.

Prof. Adarkwa urged other members of MOBA to learn from the 1966 year group example in order to  lift the image of the school .
