He donated 389 Mathematical sets to the candidates to motivate them as they prepare for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), which begins today (Monday).

Beneficiaries

The candidates are from five schools, namely the Madina Fireamour Basic School JHS, the Madina Queen of Peace Basic School JHS, the Madina Hannah School Complex JHS, the Madina Methodist Basic School JHS and the Madina Royal Child Basic School JHS.

Mr Yakubu urged the pupils to study hard and do their best in the exams to make themselves, their families and the entire community proud.

"Even though you are going to sit as individuals and write the exams, you should remember that the community is behind you.

Therefore, try and make us proud," he intimated.

“I am grateful to all stakeholders in the community, especially Chief Baaba Seidu of Madina, for supporting my dream. I am grateful," he added.

Appreciation

In separate responses, the headteachers of the beneficiary schools expressed their profound gratitude for the gesture by the assemblyman and prayed for him to continue to triumph in his stewardship.
