Power Queens Club launches 35th anniversary in Ho

The theme for the celebration is: “Delivering Excellent Service Value, The Role of the Queen.”
The Managing Director of ECG, Mr Samuel D. Mahama, in a speech read on his behalf, said ECG had a vision to be a financially sustainable and customer-focused energy service provider by 2024.

“In achieving this vision, you are expected to be exceptional in your various roles by being customer-minded and extending excellent customer service to our cherished customers,” he told the Power Queens.

Mr Mahama said women naturally had that caring spirit and good human relations which could be translated into wonderful customer care.
“Therefore, as queens of the ECG, be great ambassadors in the dispensation of your duties and let people fall in love with the ECG brand,” he added.

The General Manager of ECG in charge of the Volta Region, Emmanuel Lumor, said the role of women in the customer service of every organisation was crucial, for which reason the company placed a high premium on the Power Queens.

The National President of Power Queens, Doreen-Carol Anning-Gyebi gave an assurance that the group would continue to support the management of ECG in various ways to attain the highest standards of customer service.
