Second ‘Love Fair’ set for December 12

ReachOut World Mission will on the 12th Of December 2015  hold the 2nd edition of Love Fair, an open air fun event which focuses on sharing with the less privilege and sensitising the general public to the mutual benefits derived from engaging in charity campaigns.

The event would bring together the general public and the less privileged on one big platform filled with  fun and exciting games in a planned environment to positively impact  all attendees while they engage in shopping at setup stands.

Love fair will go a long way to benefit over a thousand (1200) children from seven charity organizations which have been selected from the Central, Greater Accra and Eastern Regions of Ghana”.

The Children from the selected charity organizations have undergone training and empowerment sessions prior to the love fair.

The training process is referred to as the Love Journey and began in August 2015. Donations would be made to the children on the grounds of the event and the public is encouraged to come along with a gift for a child.

ReachOut World Mission, founded and Managed by Miss Priscilla Naa Aklerh Okantey, is a Charity and Individual Development Organization founded on Christian values with an objective of giving back to the underprivileged in the society.

The organization is incorporated and duly registered under the company’s code of Ghana as a Non-Profit Organization.

To accomplish the long term goal of ROWM which is to build shelters throughout Africa for the homeless, ROWM has begun with the provision of love and financial support to needy populations.

Since inception, the organisation has undertaken seven projects in areas spanning from the Greater Accra Region, Eastern Region and the Brong-Ahafo Region.

In December 2014, the maiden edition of the love fair was held at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park, impacting over 500 children from four charity organisations in Accra: Save Them Young, Potter’s Village, Osu Children’s home and Centre for street children.

This year’s edition of Love Fair is powered by ReachOut World Mission and sees partnership from organisations with similar visions such as 1 Billion Africa, Jessy Dadzie foundation for Sickle Cell Awareness, Starting Now Ghana, AIESEC GHANA, Mensima Duncan Ministries and Just Care Foundation and BWP Series. Among Sponsors are DAMCO logistics, Playground Studios, Stanbest, Live FM,Sunny Fm just to mention a few.
