Indeed heels come in low, medium and high. Some of the notable ones are pumps, ankle strap heels,   wedge heels, cone heels, platform heels, peep toes heel, high heels, mules heels, spool heels, cut out heels, French heels, oxfords, comma heels, chunk heels, fantasy heels, stiletto heels among others.

For this week, our attention is on stiletto. A stiletto heel is a long, thin, high heel found on some boots and shoes, usually for women. It is named after the stiletto dagger, the phrase being first recorded in the early 1930s.

Mind you high heels and pumps are not the same as stiletto. Basically, high heels and pumps are usually wider and between two and three inches in height. They are typically low cut around the front.

The highest of all the high heels, stilettos can reach up to eight inches. A woman wearing heels definitely draws attention. Fashion experts believe that men love a woman in heels and a great pair of heels can also draw compliments from other women.

Stylish heels like high stilettos tend to draw the most attention, so stilettos may be the perfect choice if a woman is looking to turn heads. Stiletto with stunning accents will also draw more attention than plain heels.

Besides, petite women especially use stilettos heels to overcome their natural stature.

If you lack the stamina and confidence to wear stilettos do not try or wear to only walk barefooted at events because you feel uncomfortable.
