No one wears coloured braids and weaves than Sister Derby. Known in real life as (Deborah Owusu-Bonsu) Sister Derby as her stage name goes is a television presenter, musician and model. She has been actively involved in sanitation and recycling campaigns using her music.

She is the sister of the popular hiplife musician, Wanlov the Kubolor. Sister Derby attended Christ the King International School in Accra and continued at Wesley Girls' High School.
She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Publishing Studies from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, followed by a Master Degree in Book/Journal Publishing from the Univeristy of Arts London.
