In his Valedictorian’s speech, the old student of the Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High, Legon, entreated his colleagues to be the change they want to see in the society.
“During our years in school, most of us had complaints or criticisms about our country and world leaders. We have also heard the complaints and accusations made against health care professionals. We may have even witnessed some questionable behaviours amongst our senior colleagues.
“We have been given the opportunity to go into the world and be the change we want to see in it. May it never be said or heard that one of us here is being arrogant, ill-mannered, unprofessional in our workplaces or engaging in activities that are contrary to the ethics of our noble profession.”
