We need a decent public place of convenience

Dear Editor, the people living at Arena, in Accra, are doing their best to lift high the image of the area. As such, they have started clearing gutters in the area and tidying up the streets every week.

Despite the efforts, there is more to be done and there should be no delays in ensuring that we have other necessary facilities.

One of these is a decent public place of convenience. What we have in the area is a pit latrine which gets full often, no matter how deep it may be. We, therefore, need a modern one.

Again, the area needs constant flow of water. The state of our roads is also not the best and needs fixing.

I wish to also state that we are in the COVID-19 era and this virus has killed many people in the world.
Fortunately, in our country, the death rate is not that high.
