Study hard to enjoy Free SHS Programme
The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Trobu Constituency, Mr Moses Anim, has advised junior high school students to take their studies seriously in order to enjoy the free senior high school (SHS) programme currently being implemented by the government.
He said children needed to work hard so that they could pass the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) to qualify for SHS and enjoy the programme.

The MP, therefore, asked all students to put in a lot of effort in their studies in order to pass the BECE very well and gain admission to their schools of choice.
He said this at the 15th anniversary celebration of the California School Complex at Omanjor in Accra.
The Director of the Opportunity International Education Trust, Madam Shula Dlymin, encouraged teachers to keep up with their good work and ensure that they give children the best.
The theme for the celebration was: “15 Years of Academic Excellence and Total Personal Development.”
There were performances such as modelling, drama, cultural dances, display by the cadet corps, poetry recitals and choreography by the students.
