Obuasi Kiddifest to benefit Children’s Home

Actress Emelia Brobbey is planning to put smiles on the faces of the needy once at Obuasi.

Come July 26 at Anyinam Lodge, Obuasi, Emelia  under her Emelia Brobbey Charity Organization and End Time Films will organise Obuasi Kiddifest to raise funds to complete the building of Patmos Children’s Home at Tewobaabi.

Actors who will be supporting her are Kyeiwaa, Maame Serwaa, Dabo among others. On the day of the event, the actors will stage a play on the importance of education. The children will also be engaged in dance competition, face painting among other games.

According to Emelia, she was touched to help the deprived children after visiting the orphanage last year. 

“After seeing the uncompleted building of Patmos Children’s Home, I was touched and decided to put together some of my colleagues to raise funds in completing the building”, she told Showbiz.

“We are looking at raising up to GH¢10,000 for the completion of the Patmos building and I plead with institutions to come and support this cause” she said. 

The event is supported by Indomie, Curtains Plaza, Yazz,  Money Pee and The End Hotel.
