Junior Taekwondo Championship ends in Sunyani

The Junior Taekwondo Championship Competition for the Northern Sector has ended successfully in Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region.

The event, which was organised by the Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF) attracted many young talents in the sporting discipline from the Ashanti and Brong Ahafo regions.

During the event, Felix Adu Gyasi beat James Owusu Boakye in the Under Eight and Nine year Division to emerge the winner while Bruce Adjei Kumi placed third after beating Cornelius Yeboah in the same category.

Eric Atta Badu won the 12 and 13-year old category after flooring Andrews Opoku while Francis Opoku Jr beat Vincent Yeboah to place third.

In the 10-12-year category, Dennis Owusu Adade defeated Daniel M. Marfo Jr in the first bout with Samuel Owusu taking home the third place after beating Emmanuel Molokwu.

Bismarck Kwarteng beat Maxwell Gyawu to win the Under Seven to Eight year-old Division.
