Juaso D/A JHS emerges best in march past

The Juaso D/A Junior High School in the Asante Akim South District of the Ashanti Region was adjudged the best school in the march past during the March 6 Independence Day celebrations held recently.

The school came tops out of the 16 junior high schools that took part in the march past.

For its prize, the school was given a set of jerseys, three footballs and a certificate of participation.

It is the second successive time the school had emerged winner.

According to the Head teacher of the school, Mr Osborn Agyenim Boateng, “We were adjudged the best because of the way our students marched and the way they were smartly dressed”.

“We were the only school that had the flag with the country’s 60th anniversary logo on it,” adding that “we would continue to train our students to be disciplined and dedicated in all things that they do”.
