Desist from acts of indiscipline

The Bishop of the Tema Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana, the Rt Rev. Samuel Ofori-Akyea, has expressed concern about the level of indiscipline that currently exist among some children in the country.

He, therefore, called on them to put a stop to such negative acts as they begin the new year since it would not help them in anyway.

“There is a lot of indiscipline among today’s children. If you look at what is happening in the country today with regards to children, you can see that a whole lot of indiscipline has eaten into them.

“Reports coming from schools indicate that children are doing their own thing with some even going to the extent of beating their teachers. Some are also disrespectful to their parents and the elderly. These things were not happening many years ago,” he pointed out.

He advised children to endeavour to be obedient to their parents and the elderly as well to be law-abiding.
