Parents, she said, must also visit their children at their schools to find out the performance of their children every school term.

Mrs Obeng made the call at the 25th anniversary celebration and Speech and Prize-giving Day of the school.

The Blessed King of Glory School started in June 1992 with three children and two teachers but now has a population of over 500.

The proprietress said the school had produced graduates who could be found in various fields, including engineering, health, law and accounting.

She asked parents to invest more in their children’s education since they would reap the needed benefits in future.

“When you do your best for your children they will also give you so much in your old age as they would have a bright future,” she added.

Mrs Obeng expressed gratitude to parents, teaching and non-teaching staff of the school for their dedication to the school.
