Aspire educational complex awards brilliant pupils

The Director’s Honour Roll was instituted by the Director and Founder of the school, Mr Godfred Asare Nomafo, which was established in 2017.

This is the second time the awards have been given to the  pupils.

Mr Nomafo said he initiated the awards to motivate the pupils to study hard.

He urged parents and guardians to invest in their children’s education since that was the only way they would be successful in life.

For her part, the Assistant Headmistress, Madam Antoinette Etse, said there were four categories of awards given.

According to her, the first category, which was for pupils in the lower primary level — Classes 1 to 3 -, required pupils to score between 90 and 100 per cent in all 10 subjects.

She said for the upper classes which were from Classes 4 to 6, a pupil had to score between 85 and 100 per cent in all 10 subjects to qualify for  the award.

Madam Etse further stated that merit awards were also given to pupils who had between 85 and 100 per cent in nine subjects.

The third category, Madam Etse indicated, was for the Kindergarten (KG) 1 and 2 pupils, where they had to obtain 100 per cent in all the four subjects to qualify for the award.

She said a medal, certificate and a storybook were given to the awardees.
