52 pupils graduate at Cambridge Garden Academy

 

Fifty-two pupils of the Cambridge Garden Academy have graduated to primary and junior high school levels at a ceremony in Tamale.

In all, 31 pupils graduated from the kindergarten levels to the primary department, while 21 pupils also moved from primary to the JHS level.

The Headmaster of the school, Mr Paul Bugri Kazussah in a speech called on the district assembly to help construct the road leading to the school which is located at Gbanyamni in the Sagnarigu District in the

Northern Region to ensure the safety of the schoolchildren.

Mr Kazussah said the school presented nine candidates for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and was optimistic that they would pass the examination and enrol in their first choice schools.

He thanked parents and teachers for their co-operation and urged them to continue with the good work.

The Sagnarigu District Director of Education, Mr Alhassan Mustapha, the Guest of Honour, appealed to parents to provide the educational needs of their children and also encourage them to study hard.

There were impressive performances to mark the day which included drama, poetry recitals, choreography and cultural displays by the pupils to the admiration of their parents.
