10-year-old boy donates to Achimota Hospital

A 10-year-old boy, Papa Yaw Ofori Owusu of the North Ridge School, Accra, has donated a number of items to the children’s ward of the Achimota Municipal Hospital.

This was  to mark his birthday which fell on September 23.

The items included a six-litre water heater, four pulse oximeters and 50 malaria test kits.

The items  were given to Papa Yaw by Codix Healthcare.

Presenting the items, Papa Yaw said, “my parents have always taken me to share gifts on my birthday with other children who are in need”.

He advised  other children who could,   to assist  institutions by  first finding out their needs so that what they donated would be  of great help to them.

Papa Yaw  was accompanied by his parents, younger brother, Saame, and other members of his family and  friends.

The Hospital’s Administrator, Mr Fred Ayipaala,   received the  items . He expressed  appreciation for  the gesture  and prayed for long life for the birthday celebr
