Black Queens’ captain Elizabeth Addo on Monday clinched her first trophy with Chinese Women’s Super League side Jiangsu Suning.

Elizabeth, together with Malawian teammate, Tabitha Chawinga helped Jiansgu Suning to retain the title they won last season thanks to a 3-0 win over Dalian Quanjian at the Weifang Sports Center Stadium.

Going into the final, Elizabeth, had provided two assists for Tabitha to hit a treble in their 7-1 semi-final win over Changchun.

On Monday, striker Tang Jiali gave Jiansgu a 2-0 first-half lead before Elizabeth added one goal during the second half to seal the victory for her side.

It was the 25-year-old striker’s third goal in eight appearances since she moved to the Asian nation in April.

On the other hand, Tabitha, who joined the club in 2018 has scored 19 goals in eight outings this season. Last Monday's triumph secured her a third trophy with the club.

Jiangsu are now back-to-back winners after they defeated Dalian by the same score at the Weifang Sports Stadium to clinch the trophy last season.
