Worship Night with Joe Mettle
He received a lot of applause for his sterling performance at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) and he kept the same momentum when he held his annual Praiz Reloaded concert at the ICGC Calvary Temple, Sakumono on Sunday.

As if that isn’t enough, the 2015 Male Vocalist of the Year will lead staff of Capital Bank and the general public when the bank holds its annual thanksgiving show dubbed, Worship Night on Friday, July 1, at the ICGC Calvary Temple, Sakumono.
Annually, Worship Night has provided the platform for gospel artistes to lead staff of Capital Bank and their customers in thanksgiving praise and worship every mid – year and this year’s show will be no different.
Apart from Joe Mettle, Brother Sammy will also be on hand at the 4: 00 pm event to take the patrons through a “spirit- filled worship time”.
Some of the choirs that will also perform are Sword of Gibeon and Beautiful Melodeons from I.C.G.C Calvary Temple, the Chosen Vessels Choir from University of Ghana and Fragrance Choir from Capital Bank Ghana.
Speaking with Showbiz, the Oguan Hwefo Pa artiste said, “it’s an honour to be part of what I call corporate worship. Sometimes, in our quest for material and worldly things, we relegate God to the background. I think this is a step in the right direction that can be emulated by other corporate companies”.
The C.E.O of Capital Bank, Rev. Fitzgerald Odonkor, cemented the position of Joe Mettle when he spoke with Showbiz.
For him, Worship Night is an annual event organised by the Capital Bank Ghana every mid-year to thank God for seeing the bank through the first half of the year and also to seek His blessing for the next half of the year.
“The company’s cardinal value is God-Centeredness and as such, we believe that it is important to promote this value through events such as the Worship Night. The most important value and foundation of our institution is God,” he stated.
Real name, Joseph Oscar Mettle, Joe Mettle is a former member of gospel music group, Soul Winners and has shared the same stage with world renowned gospel artistes such as Don Moen, Israel Houghton, and Micah Stampley and Alvin slaughter.
