Paragliding Festival at Kwahu

The sport of paragliding has become the star attraction at the annual Easter festivities at Kwahu in the Eastern Region, and this year will be no different. 

Lovers of paragliding and amateurs alike will have the opportunity to glide down the scenic Kwahu hills, in the Eastern Region, guided by seasoned instructors and guides tomorrow, March 25 till Sunday March 27. 

In addition to the paragliding, there will be  side attractions such as live band gigs, cultural displays, tug of wars, playing cards and some traditional Ghanaian games like ludo, oware and draught competitions. 

This year’s edition of the Okwawu Paragliding Festival is organised under the auspices of the Ghana Tourism Authority in collaboration with the Ghana Tourist Development Company, the Kwahu South District Assembly, the Kwahu East District Assembly among others.
